Alana’s: A Multi-Dimensional Coffee Shop

With plenty of organic micro-batch coffee roasted daily in-house, Alana’s Coffee Roaster is not just a great place to go and enjoy a real quality coffee, but a place that gives you a different environment and feeling with their interior and exterior design. It’s clear that there is a personal touch that’s put into every aspect of the design;  with the goal to provide a comfortable atmosphere for anyone that walks in.

As you walk up, you see plenty of outdoor seating, with long wooden tables and benches on the front sidewalk. Upon entering the front door you’re immediately greeted by a large counter along that’s covered by beautiful geometric black and white tiles; this adds a subtle pattern to the space. Modern elements are added to the space, things like black metal pendent lighting hang above the main counter displaying the food and accessories for sale. And the wood beamed ceiling invites a warm touch to the atmosphere.

On the opposite side of the store there’s some small tables and cushioned wall seating all focusing your attention to the main focal point of the room, the big orange roasting machine surrounded by a clear glass. With an in-house roaster in the main room, you can experience the sights and sounds of it roasting a fresh batch of beans. The space overall leans to a vibey design with touches of modern and clean lines adorning throughout.

However, in my opinion the best spot to enjoy your cup of coffee is in the back patio. It’s a funky backyard with twinkle lights draped above with picnic style tables throughout, a raised platform at the back next to a vintage camper trailer as the main attraction. The white palette is balanced out with the green from the plants, often known as a “courtyard’s flora and fauna”. The patio is homely feeling and brings an extremely peaceful and relaxing feel.

Alana’s Coffee Roaster is a multi-dimensional space that consists of more than just a few small bistro tables, but a coffee shop that brings a different atmosphere whether you’re engaged in work or study, or to hang out and socialize with friends looking for a cozy vibe. I mean, in my opinion, what more could you want from a coffee spot?
